Haiti - Security : A polcie officer coldly shot in Martissant
Earlier Wednesday morning in Martissant, Simon Jackson, an officer 1 of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), accompanied by two of his colleagues was shot in his private vehicle, while on his way his place of work.

The incident occurred when a dozen unidentified armed individuals intercepted at Matissant, the vehicle and demanded the police officers to give them their service weapon "It's when Simon refused to give his weapon, that one of the bandits coldly shot him," said one of his colleagues who was traveling with the victim and handed over his weapon to the attackers under threat.

Moreover, that same day, 2 other dead bodies were reported to Martissant, one of the two victims would be a driver of public transport. The two victims were reportedly shot dead for unknown reasons by unidentified individuals who fled, witnesses said.
