Haiti - Politic : Open letter to the Government by fifty women's organizations
In a context of demands, violence and armed conflict, socio-political radicalization and migration crisis, the leaders of more than fifty women's organizations from all departments of Haiti, sent an open letter to Government for a way out of crisis carrying durable solutions. Letter that we invite you to share the main excerpts.

Extract from the letter from women's organizations :

"[...] we invite you to draw on best practices and lessons learned from Alma Mater countries such as Benin and Rwanda, who have been able to lead effective and successful national consultation processes. More than twenty years later, the results of these consultations have become concrete in these countries in performing institutions, political stability, social progress and economic growth.

We urge you to use the experience and expertise of these countries to launch a consultation process that, like the Benin National Sovereign Conference, could be held over a very short period of time.

In addition, these consultations should enable us to develop a vision for 2040 focusing on key pillars such as gender equality, good governance, transparent and efficient governance, decentralization and the development of governance, the revitalization of productive sectors, skilled human capital, quality physical and social infrastructure and alliances with strategic partners at regional and global level.

It is obvious that Haiti has its own history, specificities and challenges that are not those of Benin and Rwanda. However, with the strong will of the rulers and leaders of the opposition to work on solutions that bring us together, capitalizing on the experience of other countries and especially on the mobilization of the forces of the Nation including young people, the women and the Diaspora and guided by the Almighty, we will initiate together the process of restoration of the Haitian Nation.

As a result, we rely on your patriotism to mobilize all energies and foster a sense of urgency. [...]"
