Haiti - Agriculture : 50,000 bags of fertilizer for rice producers

On Wednesday, 27 February, Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant made a short visit to the Ministry of Agriculture and took the opportunity to discuss with senior management and several ministry officials. He announced that arrangements had been made to make 50,000 bags of fertilizer available to rice farmers in the Artibonite Valley.

To this end, he asked the Minister of Agriculture, Jobert C. Angrand, to take all the necessary steps to enforce the measures at the Ministry level, recalling "There will be no purchase of new vehicles this year and we will have to do everything we can to eliminate the budget deficit..."
