Haiti - FLASH : The Senate wants to interpellate the PM before the Chamber of Deputies
Following the letter of interpellation of the Chamber of Deputies dated March 15 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27200-haiti-flash-the-pm-and-his-government-interpellated-by-70-deputies.html fixing the interpellation of the Prime Minister and his Government on March 18, senators who had fixed the date of interpellation in a letter dated March 13 of Prime Minister Jean Henry Céant and two of his ministers : Jean Roudy Aly (Justice) and Jean Marie Reynaldo Brunet (Interior), on September 20 https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27168-haiti-flash-the-pm-and-two-ministers-under-an-interpellation-of-the-senate.html , have changed this date in a correspondence dated March 15 which reads "This interpellation session is scheduled for Monday, March 18, 2019, or by impossible on Tuesday March 19, or Wednesday, March 20, or Thursday, March 21 between 0:00 am and 6:00 pm"

Note that if the upper house grants a vote of confidence to Céant, it can not be interpellated before 6 months. On the other hand, the probability of a vote of no confidence in the lower house is important, since the request for an interpellation comes from 70 deputies close to the Head of State and a vote of no confidence would cause the fall of the Prime Minister and of his Government.

However, remember that Céant is currently on an official trip to Morocco where he participates in the invitation of King Mohammed VI Crans Montana Forum https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27200-haiti-flash-the-pm-and-his-government-interpellated-by-70-deputies.html and should be back home in the evening of Tuesday, March 19 and can only at best, to stand in the Senate March 20 as convened, except request for postponement on his part...
