Haiti - Politic : The Ministry of the Interior denies the defamatory statements of the RNDDH
The Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities (MICT) is making a formal denial of the defamatory statements of the main leader of the National Network for the Defense of Human Rights (RNDDH), "asserting in the press that the Ministry would collude with armed gangs across the country."

The MICT is wrong against "these dangerous and totally unfounded allegations made by Mr. Pierre Esperance at the microphones of some radio stations of the capital including April 17. He also takes the opportunity to denounce the irresponsible and politic nature of these statements, which are likely to feed tension and psychosis of fear in the country, as well as to stigmatize State institutions."

In addition, the Ministry of the Interior, recalls that "the outlaw practices are not part of its commitments and are clearly incompatible with its attributions and the line government in general".

In these circumstances, the Ministry calls on the population to be cautious "faced the public intoxication, through the spreading of information that is all too often wrong, with consequences, however, disastrous" and renews its determination "to maintain the safety of the State, to fight against insecurity and to help bring peace and serenity to the communes, communal sections, neighborhoods and dwellings of the country."
