Haiti - Health : The Solino Health Center reopened after 20 years of closure
Saturday, as part of the strengthening of health facilities in Haiti and to allow the population to receive care services nearby, Marie Gréta Roy Clément Minister of Public Health and Population, accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Martine Moïse and the Director of Health of the West, Dr. Martial Bénêche, proceeded to the reopening of two health centers, one in Solino and the other in Jalousie (Pétion-ville).

The Solino Health Center, which has been closed for 20 years, is now reopened and functional under the supervision of Dr. Dens Rhodeney Joseph, to provide local health care to the population.

All basic services are available at these two health centers and are equipped with a solar energy system allowing them to have uninterrupted electricity.
