Haiti - Security : Arrest of a fugitive

On Saturday, the fugitive Bélony Mertil was captured by the Gonaïves government commissioner at the time he was attending a meeting of the Alliance for a Society without Exclusion (ASE) party, with a view to integrating it.
Recall that this alleged criminal who had beheaded his girlfriend, Mergeline Dérisma, in 2004, in Marmelade, escaped the civil prison of Gonaïves twice in 2004 and 2008, according to Me Sérard Gazius.
After his second escape in 2008, he moved to Jean Denis in Lower Artibonite where he changed his identity, got married and had children. The chief prosecutor informs that the alleged criminal has confessed and announces that he will rebuild his file to send him to the instruction cabinet.
