Haiti - Petit-Goâve : Journalist Guyto Mathieu death threat by Mayor Limongy
The journalist Guyto Mathieu, CEO of Radio Préférence FM and HaitiLibre correspondent for 8 years, is the subject of death threats from the Mayor of Petit-Goâve, Limongy Samson Jean.

On Monday, June 17, Mayor Limongy telephoned a relative of Guyto Mathieu to tell him that he was ready to spend a large sum of money to have the journalist assassinated.

Mayor Limongy reportedly reacted after Francis Lindor distorted and reported an information that journalist Guyto Mathieu had published on an investigation that the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) had opened in Petit-Goâve.

Original text published by journalist Guyto Mathieu :
"A team from the ULCC conducted an investigation at the Street Lamarre... The information collected on the management of public affairs are alarming, we learned from a reliable source."

Mayor Limongy and Francis Lindor will be held responsible for any misfortune that could happen to the journalist Guyto Mathieu.
