Haiti - Exams : The Minister visits the student-teachers of the Normal Schools of Teachers
Thursday Pierre Josué Agénor Cadet, Minister of National Education accompanied by Etzer Vixamar, Director of the Directorate of Training and Development, in charge of the examinations (24 to 28 June) of the Normal Schools of Teachers (ENI), visited the Examination Center of Luc's Educational Institution Manitanne, welcoming student teachers to Tabarre

1,073 candidates of which 548 for the preschool and 525 for the fundamental undergo the official tests of the ENI in the department of West on 1,172 registered during the week of June 24 to 28.

A total of 2,681 candidates are expected in these tests across the 10 departments of the country including 1,483 new preschool and 933 for the fundamental . The others are candidates who repeat the examinations for which they failed in previous years "the tests of ENI are of paramount importance in the system of national assessment in the preparation of teachers to mentor our children," said the Minister Cadet during his visit

It should be remembered that these examinations assess the skills of candidates for oral and written completion of the diploma, enabling them to teach at the preschool or fundamental level.

Returning to the 9th Year fundamental examinations 24 to 26 June 2019 which ended on Wednesday, Minister Cadet indicated that overall the examinations went smoothly, stating that in 5 departments no incident had been reported and in 5 others there were minor incidents that were quickly managed by the Ministry. He thanked all the partners and actors who contributed to the success of these exams, especially the parents who accompanied their children constantly, defying the plans of those who wanted to disrupt some exam centers.

The Minister announced that Cadet parallel preparations continue for holding secondary school leaving exams (BAC) to be held from 8 to 12 July.
