Saturday afternoon on the road of dalles (Martissant), the vehicle of Deputy Printemps Bélizaire, in which was particularly Pedrica Saint Jean, the Chief of Protocol of the Chamber of Deputies (former candidate for parliament under the banner of the party Fusion), coming from the funeral of journalist Rospide Petionhttps://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27967-haiti-security-the-journalist-rospide-petion-murdered.html was the target of individuals heavily armed for an indeterminate reason.

When shooting on the vehicle, which bears traces of several bullet holes which several windows were smashed to bits, Pedrica Saint Jean was hit twice in the back and shoulder. Seriously injured, she was rushed to Bernard Mevs Hospital. Information confirmed by the deputy of the radical opposition Spring Bélizaire (Famni Lavalas), which was not aboard of his vehicle during the shooting.
