Haiti - Elections : Facing the crisis, Jean Henry Céant is surprised by the reactions
The former candidate for the presidency, Jean Henry Céant which accuses the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) with Yves Cristalin of violation of his political rights [Me Newton asks, on behalf of its clients, damage for an amount of 250 million gourds), spoke about the crisis that was caused by the publication of the final results of the disputed legislative elections.

"Nobody can claim that it did not know that this CEP would lead us toward this disaster. [...] I do not understand the reaction today from the American Embassy, the UN, some elected... because it is them, which on November 28, 2010, have been stubborn, had shown tenacity and had wanted the continuation of elections, with the same CEP.

Today, that they do not tell us that this CEP is composed [...] of men which sell the elections. Today we no longer accept these people, they have no credibility to speak, because on November 28, 2010, disaster was already announced. We told them that there was no other solution of wisdom hat the cancellation, pure and simple of the masquerade of November 28.

They remained in this logic of masquerade and have pushed the country toward March 20 [second round of the elections]. They tell us what today? What occurred it is what was to happen."
