We have just learned that a fire that broke out at Toussaint Louverture International Airport was quickly mastered by the firefighters assigned to the airport.
According to our information, the fire has damaged duty free shops (selling liquor, perfumes...) and restaurants upstairs.
Operations are suspended, but the airport is not closed.
Inspection and cleaning work are in progress.
For the moment, the cause of this fire and the extent of the damage are unknown, so far no report has been provided by the airport official.
