According to witnesses, the victim resided in the area of El Tamarindo. The initial findings indicate that he was beaten several times and that he was killed in a very cruel manner, which provoked great indignation among the rural population of Montellano... The authorities sent for autopsy, the body to the National Institute of Judicial Sciences (INACIF) in Santiago. An investigation was opened to determine the exact circumstances of this tragedy. Recall that this is the second time a Haitian has been found hanged in criminal circumstances and not suicidal.
