Political repression in Miragoâne ?
Me André Michel, Spokesperson of the radical opposition of the movement known as "Democratic and Popular Sector" condemns and denounces the political repression exerted in Miragoâne over the last 48 hours against the local leaders and activists underlining that warrants of bringing were arbitrarily awarded against about twenty leaders and opposition activists in the department of Nippes.

Crisis : $1.5 billion in losses for the country
Political expert Stanley Lucas estimates that partial or total paralysis for more than a year [by popular movements initiated by the opposition] has caused Haiti to lose nearly 1.5 billion dollars and tens of thousands of jobs.
