Haiti - FLASH : 1 police officer victim every day

The police authorities presented a report covering the period from October 15 to November 20, 38 police offciers were attacked, 7 shot dead, 18 others wounded by various firearms and 13 others wounded with knives, a heavy toll due to a sharp increase in targeted attacks against police officers.
During the same period, the PN?H Intelligence and Operations Center also reported the shooting of 87 people in clashes where armed individuals clashed with police in various circumstances (Gangs and demonstrations).
In addition, from October to November 20, 2019, including the results of the "spider web" operation launched in early November https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29215-haiti-news-zapping.html to prevent and fight against crime and crime especially in the metropolitan area, the PNH made 221 arrests and the seizure of 5 vehicles, 22 firearms including 6 assault rifles and 525 ammunition.
