Haiti - Weather : End of hurricane season, positive balance for Haiti 01/12/2019 08:30:38
So far, storms and hurricanes have spared Haiti, sometimes barely and have not caused major damage to life and property. This hurricane season in the North Atlantic Basin, particularly in the Caribbean, has resulted in 18 named storms, including 6 category 1 or 2 hurricanes and 3 "major hurricanes" (categories 3, 4 or 5).
