The PNH spokesman said that the situation had returned to normal at the Prison Center and that there had been no deaths during the mutiny or during the intervention of the police. He also said that an investigation had been opened to find out the exact circumstances of the mutiny and how a firearm could have been brought into the prison and discovered in a cell during an inspection preceding the mutiny. Regarding the demands of the detainees, he indicated that efforts would be made to improve the conditions of detention, but he said nothing about the other demands such as the judgment of the prisoners who never went before the judge or the release of some sick prisoners...
