Haiti - Coronavirus : 7 Chinese from Haiti trigger the Dominican medical protocol at the border
The entry this week into Dominican territory in Dajabón of 7 Chinese citizens from Haiti who came to shop, attracted the attention of the soldiers who immediately started the medical protocol against the Coronavirus.

The 7 Chinese were detained and immediately examined by Dr. Persio Jiménez, Provincial Director of Public Health in Dajabón. After examining Dr. Jiménez declared that these people who lived in Haiti and who had not traveled outside the country for a year, presented no suspicious symptoms of COVID-19, nor any risk for the Dominican population, before authorizing them to enter the province to obtain various products that are difficult to find in Haiti.

Very supervised by the military, the Chinese proceeded to their purchases then returned to Haiti still under escort...

Migration authorities in Dajabón have declared that after this inconsequential incident, the medical security and border prevention protocol will remain active.
