Today at 8am was inaugurated the new Savane Pistache marketplace in Carrefour-Feuilles, the new market was handed over to the members of municipal administration of Port-au-Prince and to the Merchants' Committee of Savane Pistache. The construction of this market was financed by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) through the program Konbit Ak Tèt Ansanm (KATA), implemented by CHF International. The neighborhood of Savane Pistache, in Carrefour-Feuilles, Port-au-Prince, is a densely populated area with high levels of unemployment.

The market will help improve economic activity and stabilize the community in the area.
