Haiti - FLASH : Flag Festival on the internet, participate with a video capsule 06/05/2020 10:57:06
Covid-19 and containment gives us the opportunity to truly apply our motto Union is Strength and to be the generation that will achieve a new Haitian revolution... On May 18, 2020, a free show will be offered on Youtube from noon to 2:05 p.m. (Eastern Canada time) with the participation of renowned Haitian artists and writers, messages from prominent figures in the sports and professional world and university as well as Haitian families distributed worldwide and in Haiti, all celebrating their attachment to the Haitian flag, a strong symbol of the heroic liberation of this people from colonization and the creation of the Haitian Nation there is more of 2 centuries. This international show will be punctuated by messages from a few official representatives, who are our ambassadors and consuls stationed in cities where there is a large Haitian community. During this show in which all will participate voluntarily in a gesture of solidarity, a fundraiser will be carried out for support to the health sector in Haiti mobilized to respond to the current health emergency. Internet spectators will be invited to make a transfer directly to the bank account of the Gheskio Centers, the banking information of the Gheskio Centers will be communicated and displayed on the screen before and during the entire show. The animators will try to follow the entry of the donations and the total amount live in order to announce it throughout the show. They will intervene in a coordinated manner from Ottawa, Montreal, Toronto, New York and Paris through messages of motivation and celebration of our national bicolor.
