Haiti - FLASH : A contingent of FAd’H soldiers, deployed at the Malpasse-Jimaní border post

As part of the strengthening of security on the national territory and on instructions from President Jovenel Moïse, the Minister of Defense, Jean Walnard Dorneval, ordered the deployment of a contingent of soldiers from the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H), in Fonds-Parisien, a commune of Ganthier (West Dept.)
This decision was taken with the aim of ensuring control at the Malpasse-Jimaní border post and at the same time combating the illegal activities carried out through Lake Azueï, such as smuggling, human trafficking, drugs and weapons...
