Friday September 11, President Jovenel Moïse, accompanied by Minister of Public Works Joacéus Nader went to La Coline, the largest of the communal sections of Aquin (South Dept) to meet with the population and provide solutions to some of the problems in this area.

In addition, Jovenel Moïse, faithful to his promise to connect all the communes in the country and bring public services closer to the population, announced that he had issued instructions to connect the intersections of La Coline and Fond des Blancs.

These road infrastructure works financed by a donation from the World Bank to the tune of $6.7 million will begin in November 2020 and end in June 2021. In addition, the Head of State announced that assessments will be also be carried out to build 20 kilometers of power lines at La Colline.
