Haiti - FLASH : The international player Johnny Descollines kidnapped
The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) learned with dismay the kidnapping by unidentified individuals, of the former striker of the national selection Johnny Descollines nicknamed by his fans "Le maestro", an international icon and one of the best players Haitians of the last decade.

Kidnapping announced Thursday morning by former player Ernso Laurence on a radio station of the Capital.

According to corroborating sources, the kidnapping took place on the evening of October 21 at Delmas 33. The kidnappers, who are already in contact with his family, allegedly demanded US $500,000 for his release.

"Free Johnny" is the heartfelt cry of the entire Haitian football family who want the former international to find safe and sound and within a short time, his family.
