Haiti - FLASH : The PNH regains control of «village de Dieu» 05/12/2020 09:16:15
A vast operation lasting several hours involving several specialized units of the PNH took place in Village de Dieu in order to regain control of the area, against a backdrop of weapons fire which caused great panic in the neighboring districts god village On Friday, Léon Charles the Commander-in-Chief ai, of the PNH gave a press briefing on the operations carried out in Village de Dieu, insisting on the need to take all measures to dislodge and put out of harm's way the bandits who continue to terrorize the population in certain neighborhoods of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince, specifying "a police operation took place on the evening of Thursday December 3 until dawn on Friday December 4 in Village de Dieu." The Director General ai of the PNH who congratulated himself on the good progress of this intervention indicated "the police have now taken up residence in this zone, occupied by illegally armed men who were engaged in criminal activities, including kidnapping, which is a repugnant act and an attack on the dignity of the person [...] The police are in Village de Dieu, they have established themselves there and they will stay there in order to restore peace," declared Léon Charles who also praised the courage and bravery of all the police officers and their to renew its support before affirming "Lawless areas must no longer exist, because the PNH has authority over the entire territory."
