Michel Presumé Director General of Electrcité d'Haïti (EDH) "[...] apologizes to his customers for the consequences that the sabotage on January 1st of the Avenue N substation will have on the company's efforts to supply electricity reliably for more and more hours every day [...]'
"I regret to inform the population that early in the morning January 1, 2021, unidentified individuals threatened the lives of technicians and sabotaged the power substation at the top of Avenue N, which regulates the network of the Metropolitan area primarily supplying the General Hospital.
I ask the judicial authorities and the security forces of the country to identify and neutralize, without delay, those individuals who sabotaged the electrical substation [...]"
