Haiti - FLASH : Delius Joseph, one of the torturers of prisoners of All Saints' Day (1989) arrested
Saturday during the police operation in Canaan 3 (north of the capital) to dislodge a Group of heavily armed individuals posing as a revolutionary army aimed at overthrowing the "system". These individuals were derouted, during a joint intervention, of units of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) and those of the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd'H) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-32683-haiti-flash-police-operation-against-fake-soldiers-in-canaan-several-dead-and-wounded.html

Among the arrests : Jean Rony Belfond (43), Délius Joseph (57), Herbens Neuphly Dérolus (24), Ocquel Pierre (25), Renois Obert (24), Arys René (24), Phillemond Dérus (44), Marcellus Lunice (44 years old). Note that Délius Joseph, an American of Haitian origin who lived in Boston, self-proclaimed "Head of the Revolutionary and Liberation Army of Haiti" led the military commando which on November 1st, 1989 arrested Evans Paul, (former Prime Minister under Michel Martelly) Jean Auguste Mesyeux and Marino Etienne, in Arcachon 32, in the commune of Carrefour. Délius Joseph was also one of the torturers of prisoners of All Saints' Day.
