Jean Emmanuel Jacquet, the Minister of Culture who has just welcomed the departure, on Tuesday September 7, of Yvenel Étienne https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-34701-haiti-flash-yvenel-etienne-the-star-singer-of-the-orchester-septentrional-has-died-video.html, the star singer of the emblematic group Septentrional, learned with amazement, Thursday, September 9, 2021, of the death of Isnard Douby (72) , in a hospital in Palm Bay (Florida) following complications from Covid-19.

The legendary singer Isnard Douby was known for his particular timbre of voice, also sang with the famous Dejan Brothers in the 70s, before forming at the very beginning of the 80s in New York "System band".

The Ministry of Culture "salutes the departure of a charismatic, disciplined and talented singer. An original voice. A demanding maestro who will have marked the history of the direct compass for more than thirty-five years. Isnard Douby will remain for many generations of fans of Haitian popular music, a reference.

Jean Emmanuel Jacquet, presents his sympathies to his family, to the musicians of the System Band, and invites them to continue on the road traced by the Maestro.
