On Friday, armed individuals demanded from the AccessHaiti company, 20,000 Gourdes to obtain authorization to access their site where there is a very important relay antenna for the North Department and to supply it with fuel.

Under duress, the company paid the amount claimed from the bandits...

Far from solving the problem, the bandits demanded a new amount, this time before the fuel was delivered to the site, which AccessHaiti categorically refused.

On Saturday in retaliation, the bandits vandalized and sabotaged the antenna site...

The company requests the assitance of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) to be able to rehabilitate its site and supply its antenna with fuel, without this the company warns that it will not be able to guarantee a quality service to its customers in the North.
