Haiti - Justice : The Government renews the mandate of 5 judges
The Ministry of Justice in a note addressed to the Technical Secretary of the Superior Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ), formalized the Government's decision to renew the mandates of five magistrates :

Me Chavannes Etienne and Me Jean Wilner Morin who are both appointed judge and investigating judge at the Court of First Instance (TPI) of Port-au-Prince;
Me Marlène Bernard Delva appointed judge for children at the TPI of Port-au-Prince.
Me. Jean Rigaud Duret appointed investigating judge at the TPI of Croix-des-Bouquets
Me Frito Aristil appointed investigating judge at the Cap-Haitien TPI

Let's recall that the mandate of several magistrates had expired in December 2021 and since 2018 for Me Jean Wilner Morin. As a reminder, the term of office of TPI judges is 7 years while it is 3 years for investigating judges.
