Haiti - FLASH : Major burglary at the Parquet of Port-au-Prince
On the night of Tuesday to Wednesday May 11, 2022, unidentified individuals carried out a major burglary at the Parquet of Port-au-Prince located at the Bicentenaire.

The offices of at least 6 investigative chambers (Judge Ikenson Edumé, Jean Wilner Morin, Anie Fignolé, Ramoncite Accimé among others) as well as the offices of at least 5 substitute Government Commissioners have been robbed and vandalized, confirmed Me Jacques Lafontant, the Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince.

However, Me Lafontant has guaranteed that the major legal files (assassinations of President Moïse and Me Monferrier Dorval, among others) as well as the major crimes (weapons, money, narcotics, etc...) are safe and cannot be stolen.

The Secretariat for Women Judges was also vandalized.

No report of the burglary is available pending the inventory of the premises.
