Haiti - Environment : Launch of the Eco-Genius Competition in 4 departments, registrations open 28/08/2022 09:26:34
General objective : Respond to environmental education at the national level in general and vis-à-vis young people in particular, with a view to achieving eco-citizenship, adaptation to climate change and innovative projects in the field Specific objectives : Educate the population on the impacts of climate change and the existing tools to reduce the vulnerability of the country's ecosystems; Offer Haitian youth the opportunity to learn and train on the country's environmental issues during the summer period; Develop within the population a certain culture of civic responsibility on the environment and climate change; Allow young people from the targeted departments to compete on their knowledge in the field of the environment in a fun atmosphere. Target groups : Local organizations, youth associations and civil society organizations working in the field of environment and climate change. Weekly activity schedul e: To better frame this Eco-Genius competition, a schedule of activities has been developed, the activities will be spread over 7 weeks.
