Haiti - Politic : Garry Conille will first submit its documents to the Lower House
According an agreement between the Presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies it is to the Lower House that the Prime Minister-designate, Dr. Garry Conille will first deposit its documents. This is the Special Commission composed of nine (9) members [the Deputies Lamarre Baptiste, Jean René Lochard, Levaillant Louis-Jeune, Jean Ronald Oscar, Joseph Benoit Laguerre,Worms Périlus, Abel Descollines, Ruffine Labbé and André Gustave] who will have to analyze the documents of the Prime Minister designate.

According to some sources, Dr. Conille was yesterday at the Central Directorate of Judicial Police (DCPJ) to withdraw his certificate of good conduct / character reference. According to a close of Dr. Conille, he should submit its documents to the Office of the lower house Friday or Monday at the latest...

At the level of the parliamentarians nothing seems yet played. The Deputy Ken Arincks Jean-Pierre, member of the gathering of parliamentarians for change (22 members) indicates "if his documents are correct, that his case is consistent with the regulations of Article 157 [...] our vote will be favorable..."

On the other hand, it appears that the Senators in favor of the Head of State, (G12) are divided after that the candidacy of Vice-Rector of the State University, Professor Laleau have been unsuccessful. However, it is necessary to keep in mind that there is a big difference between public statements and negotiations behind the scenes...

In the GPR, they want suggest that nothing has changed (despite the defection of seven deputies this week), the GPR says that all are united and are the majority in the Senate as to the Lower House... stating that only the GPR is able to make a difference in in one direction or the other about the possible designation of Dr. Garry Conille. The GPR promises to soon demonstrate its unity and its majority...
