Haiti - FLASH : FIFA offers generous bonuses to World Cup players
In a circular addressed to the Associations qualified for the 2023 Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand, FIFA announces several economic provisions and a new model for the distribution of bonuses for the benefit of players and their associations.

The 736 participants in the Women's World Cup, which will be played between July 20 and August 20 in Australia and New Zealand, will each receive a minimum of $30,000. FIFA has confirmed that the bonuses allocated to the players will be tripled compared to 2019 (in France), and multiplied by 10 compared to the 2015 World Cup (in Canada).

The great novelty lies in the fact of reserving part of this envelope for the remuneration of each player, rather than letting the participating Federations use the allocation of at least 1.46 million euros guaranteed to each of the 32 nations qualified as they want it.

The players eliminated in the Pool Phase will each receive $30,000, an amount doubled to $60,000 if they are eliminated in the round of 16, 90,000 in the quarter-finals, 165,000 for the losers of the small final, 180,000 for the third, 195,000 for the finalists and $270,000 for each of the future world champions.

It should be remembered that this is a promise made by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who pledged in March at the FIFA Congress that the organizers allocate bonuses to the players, a first for the women's tournament and a step towards gender equality...

Each Federation that participates in the 2023 Women's World Cup will receive for the group stages an amount of 1 million 560,000 US dollars. Those qualified for the 8th finals will receive 1 million 870 thousand dollars. For the 1/4 finals, the federations will receive 2 million 180 thousand dollars. 4th place 2 million 455 thousand, 3rd place 2 million 610 thousand. The finalist federations will receive 3 million 15 thousand dollars. The federation crowned champion of the competition will receive 4 million 290 thousand dollars.

FIFA has also confirmed that its total investment in this World Cup should exceed 500 million dollars.
