Haiti - Politic : Nothing is decided yet for Garry Conille
After the ratification earlier this week of Dr. Garry Conille many politicians and actors of the Haitian political life express themselves on the next step that the Prime Minister will have to overcome, the statement of general policy.

For Evans Paul of KID/ALTERNATIVE, all will be played at the level of the sharing of responsibility, but people who will have the positions must be accorsing to him qualified "...the discussions will not be on what Mr. Conille will promise, the promise of Mr. Conille will always be acceptable, is at the level of the participation in the government that everything will be played, what is called the sharing of responsibilities, should be noted that myself I'm not against that there have people who are involved in a government. The government is not a private good of a president or of Prime Minister, all the people who are competent, who would like play a role, if they meet the requirements on the academic and policy level why no, but I insist on the fact that what we want today is not a job for citizens, but responsibility for the patriots who want to commit to change the living conditions of the Haitian people, to remove the mass of people from poverty, hunger..." however Paul indicates that "what is important for us is to be in peace with ourselves, and today we are concerned, because we are concerned we have chosen to abstain [in the ratification of Garry Conille] as an attitude of vigilance..."

For his part the senator Kély Bastien wants that the government that will be formed, includes in its priorities, among other things, the amendment of the constitution, stating that the next day or the day after the acceptance of the general policy the constitutional amendment must be published because, according to the Senator Bastien a quantity of institutions depends on it.

Regarding the amendment of the constitution Sauveur Pierre Etienne of the OPL states that "...The coalition INITE-LAVALAS voted the record of Dr. Garry Conille, they ratified the choice because they think that the plans they had with the President Préval, they can implement them, what was this project ? President Préval thought that Haiti was in Russia, he wanted to become a Poutine and that the President that he wanted put in place would have been a Medvedev, that means a puppet president, the next step is not the ratification of the policy statement, this is not the approval of the latter, the next step is the pressure that INITE-LAVALAS will do in order that the President Martelly promulgates the amendment of President Préval and once that is done, the coup is underway, what does that mean ? According to the new version of the constitution, if they can promulgate it, if the President has any problems or if parliament removed him, it is the Prime Minister who will replace the President, this is not the President of the Court of Cassation as wrote in the constitution of 1987."

According to the Senator of the Artibonite, Anik François Joseph (ALTERNATIVE) if Garry Conille can not convince the Parliament he will have to resign "if he does not convince them, they will give him a vote of no confidence, a Prime Minister who receives a vote of censure is forced to resign, all the possibilities are there, [...] there are senators who voted yes simply because they want to provide the nation with a government, I always said a government stable and functional [...] I do not see, yet, take shape before me the intricacies of a stable government, at least not with Mr. Conille."

For the Deputy of Mirebalais/Boucan Carré, Abel Descolines (LAVNI), member of the majority of the lower house, the Group 58, the general policy must reflect the concerns of deputies across the constituency they represent, stating that the vote is not acquired to the Prime Minister "...the group 58 has never required the sharing of responsibility, however, we insist that there have clarifications, that explanations are given, because the vote of Group 58, regarding the policy statement is not yet acquired for the Prime Minister. We want first and foremost that there is a set of answers, on a set of questions, a set of questions from in relation to [...] the formation of a government , who will be Minister, what sectors will integrate the government... [...] We want to discuss so we can decide knowingly... [...] ...The general policy statement should reflect our concerns through the constituency we represent, at the level of G58 we don't make of the sharing of responsibilities a condition, however, we want to have a right to a say [...] we must be involved in choices and decisions to be made..."
