Haiti - Politic : Reflections of the OPL on the new Government 17/10/2011 10:51:12
"I believe that this government is the result of an alliance, the alliance of the team Martelly and platform INITE particularly, of course there are the political parties AAA, PONT and PAIN [Agricultural Industrial National Party], which occupies the position of Minister of Agriculture. The President of PAIN is the Minister of Agriculture, is the only party leader to the government. It is this alliance that gave a majority in both houses and now allows to have a government. I hope that this support, strong enough in the House of Deputies, but rather limited in the Senate allow the government to have stability, gain confidence and to initiate the first actions of this government that will be most likely the development and the presentation of the budget 2011-2012. To the ALTERNATIVE and to the OPL we expect to see... it is necessary to understand that we have not yet a team [ministerial cabinet], there are people who have been selected, some by the President of the Republic, perhaps others, by the Prime Minister I do not know [...] there is, a disparate group of people who are called to lead the country the level of the Executive. Is the Prime Minister will show all its power to bring cohesion among these individuals in order to make a team of it ?
