A UDMO police officer killed at his home
The National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) informs that police officer Cadet Gerto of the 23rd Promotion, member of the Departmental Unit for Maintaining Order (UDMO) was killed by armed individuals at his home in Mahotière 85. His body was taken away and then burned.

Cap-Haitien : "Anténor Firmin: between the sword and the pen"
The Cap-Haïtien Town Hall announces that it is preparing to host on March 7 the brand new documentary "Anténor Firmin: between the sword and the pen or the equality of the races" by director Arnold Antonin. In this captivating film, the director eloquently portrays the son of Cap-Haïtien as an iconic figure. A series of four screenings is planned, offering everyone the opportunity to delve into the life of this exceptional politician.

26 PNH executives certified in strategic planning
26 executives of the Haitian National Police (PNH), including 5 women, received their certification following training on the different phases of police strategic planning organized as part of support for the PNH and in preparation of the development of the next Strategic Development Plan. This training was provided by experts from the "Standing Police Capacity, SPC" of the UN Police Division

Entrepreneurship of rural youth
The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP - Haiti) launched on February 22 the project "Integration and support for entrepreneurship of rural youth" which aims to support local initiatives (more particularly in the municipalities of Ferrier and Saint-Raphaël in the North-East department) target groups, notably women, young people and people living with disabilities and thus contribute to the revival of the local economy and the empowerment of women.

The former Prime Minister, Claude Joseph, rejects out of hand the order of judge Walther Wesser Voltaire, indicting him in the assassination of ex-president Jovenel Moise.
