The Minister of the Interior attacked
The Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities (MICT) was the target of a violent attack by heavily armed individuals. Opening a breach in the fence adjoining Street de la Réunion to enter the space, they riddled certain Ministry infrastructures with bullets and set fire to equipment. The shootings and arson attacks hit two generators, central air conditioning ducts and motors, windows and furniture at various levels. At least six vehicles were also destroyed by fire among other damage recorded.

Radio Télévision Caraibes abandons its premises
Radio Télévision Caraibes (RTVC) had to abandon its premises on Street Chavannes due to the escalation of violence in downtown Port-au-Prince. RTVC is now installed in another space in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince.

6,800 displaced people housed at Lycée Marie-Jeanne
Nearly 6,800 displaced people, including more than 200 pregnant women, are housed at the Lycée Marie-Jeanne, according to the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC) in Port-au-Prince, which is launching an appeal to the leaders concerned and members of social organizations in order to provide assistance.

Tuesday March 12, 2024, The Caribbean People's Assembly held a conference denouncing the interference of the international community which decided to provide the country with new leaders.
