Haiti - Cinema : The Dominican Global Film Festival in Haiti 14/11/2011 11:51:35 Founded in 2006, at the initiative of President Leonel Fernández, the Festival's mission is to provide, in the Dominican Republic, the best cinema from around the world including films with a strong social and political message. The motto of the festival is "Global Issues, personal stories." When the drum is beating (Tanbou Frape) interweaves the history of Haiti and that exceptionally long of the Septentrional Orchestra.
