Haiti - Politic : The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs avoids the interpellation 23/11/2011 09:35:09
This Tuesday, the Senators met in order to interpellate, Me Josué Pierre Louis, the Minister of Justice and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Michel Brunache, as part of the arbitrary arrest of Deputy Belizaire, on October 27.
After reading of the report of the Commission of Inquiry of the Senate, by Anick Joseph Secretary Rapporteur of the Commission, following a request of Senator Youri Latortue, the Senate proceeded to the waiver of the interpellation of Me Michel Brunache.
The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, thanked the Senators for this decision and reiterated his willingness to contribute to the strengthening of the institutions of the country and to give all his support to the Parliament.
The Minister of Justice, Mr. Josué Pierre Louis, who resigned a few hours earlier, was not present at this session of interpellation.
