Haiti - Culture : «Festival des quatre chemins» 2011
The Festival des quatre chemins 2011 opens its doors Monday, November 28 at 2:00 pm with the traditional street parade that launches each year the festival. From November 28 to December 10, several shows are scheduled to the Fokal, to the French Institute, to Base-Art Culture, and in the street... Quatre Chemins is a showcase of the haitian creation, with creations around a theater citizen and the support, as always, to the emergence of young artists through training, coaching, the support to the creation and dissemination for an audience that responds with enthusiasm each year to the rendezvous.

The 2010 edition, entitled "En chantier" was essentially a period of reflection and learning, in the perspective of a theater more open on the street and the public space as a prelude to the sites of creation for the edition 2011. Led by experienced trainers such as Jacques Livchine and Hervée de Lafond, of the "Théâtre de l'Unit", Eva Doumbia, of the company "la Part du Pauvre" and by actor director Philippe Robert, this workshops dealt with theatrical forms few practiced here, who question the relationship of artists to the city and beyond, to other types of creations for a theater citizen.

The edition 2011 of the festival is a ontinuation of the 2010 edition. With creations mixed around a theater citizen and the support to the emergence of young artists by supporting their creation and presentation to the public who each year responds present with enthusiastically to the appointment.

Admission to the performances of the festival is free on presentation of an invitation card to remove to the Fokal, to the French Institute or the bookstore La Pléiade in Petion-Ville.
