Haiti - Health: Certification of the promotion 2009-2011, of Nurses Midwives
Sixteen students graduating Nurse Midwives of the Promotion 2009-2011, called "Promotion Dr. Alix Pierre Laroche" in memory of former Technical Advisor and Assistant Director of the National School of Nurse Midwives (ENISF) disappeared in the earthquake of January 12, 2010, received their certification of specialization, at a ceremony held in Petionville in the presence of senior officials of the Ministry of Public Health and Population and Mr. Ramiz Alakbarov Representative in Haiti of the Fund for United Nations population Fund (UNFPA).

The various speakers at the ceremony praised the determination and courage of recipients who were able to successfully complete their studies, despite the fact they were severely tested by the earthquake. The recipients have for their part paid tribute to the Acting Director of the school, Ms. Marie Quettly Chevalier, for the leadership and dedication she has shown. The members of the Promotion and the Acting Director, have warmly thanked the UNFPA for the multifaceted support it has given to the ENISF.
