Haiti - Politic : End of the second tour of Supplice to the United States
Daniel Supplice, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad, made a visit to the United States (New York) from January 13 to 17, 2012, to commemorate, with the compatriots, the second anniversary of 12 January 2010, he was welcomed on his arrival by the Consul General of Haiti in New York Charles A. Forbin, then in the evening he participated in the Brooklyn College to the concert "Hope and a Future" organized for the benefit of Haiti by the Foundation "Community 2 Community." Many American celebrities such as James "D-Train" Williams, Oleta Adams, Chrisette Michele have animated the evening with the participation of Haitian musical group "CARIMI".

Marie Yolaine Eusèbe, President of the Foundation has already completed numerous projects in the country specifically in Petit-Goâve, building latrines, water purification and treatment, rehabilitation of schools... The Foundation had come in assistance to Haitians in the fight against cholera. The population has also received training sessions in first aid techniques as part of the activities of the Foundation "Community 2 Community."



On the second day of his trip to the United States, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad Daniel Supplice went Saturday, January 14, 2012, to a gala evening held in conjunction with the 1199 SEIU always in memory of victims of January 12, 2010. By this gesture, the minister wanted to thank the individuals and institutions who supported the country during these moments of pain. On the same occasion the Minister met with the Chief of Police of New York Mr. Raymond A. Kelly and he gave a plate, "honor and recognition" to the Ambassador Wyclef Jean for his work in Yéle Haiti, and to the Councilman Mathieu Eugène, accompanied by the Consul General of Haiti in New York Charles Forbin.

Sunday, Daniel Supplice met with some political leaders and members of the Haitian community of the State of New Jersey. Have among others taken part in discussions with Mr. Supplice, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Laleau Wilson, Stanley Lucas and other personalities.

Monday, it was planned a commemorative breakfast with the mayor of New York, Michael R. Bloomberg, a meeting with Ayal Frank, talks with Senator Kevin Parker and a concert tribute to the Rev.. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at Brooklyn College Walt Whitman Theater.

Daniel Supplice returned to Haiti on Tuesday.
