Haiti - Economy : Visa for Panama less expensive, it's official 08/02/2012 09:10:08
Indeed, upon request of the Head of State, the President of Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, has signed a presidential decree authorizing the immediate reduction of visa fees for Haitians. It was a sensitive issue that had not been discussed in the past with Panamanian officials. This tax cut will help the Haitian merchants to increase their trip to Panama and facilitate at the same time, the trade between the two countries. It will also allow traders to increase their capital to buy and sell goods to increase their income.
