The Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe was optimistic on the speed of the process of the Commission responsible for the verification of documents "...the process is ongoing, but I would not make comments or statements that can go, or could be interpreted in a wrong way, that's how I think and that I reiterate that parliamentarians have a work to do, and they do it, they have a report to give, I continue to believe that in the coming days a report will be released [...] I have great respect for the work that the parliamentarians make, often under conditions that are not easy, there are a lot of pressure but I think that their patriotism, professionalism and seriousness also of those who are part of the Commission will conduct a very quick resolution, whether positive or negative for me. But what is important is that the process take its course and I continue to believe that all things will be done as they should be donein near future..."
However, the Prime Minister-designate risk of being disappointed if he expected a quick process, indeed the Senator Francky Exius, member of the Commission responsible for the verification of documents of the Prime Minister-designate, Laurent Lamothe stated that the Commission which was to present its report on March 29 will not do it either this week or next week.
