Jointly with the Ministry, the ISPAN and the Municipality of Pétion ville have developed a rehabilitation plan for the Fort Jacques, whose objective is to encourage regular visits, reinstall the canons, having an amusement park and a craft shop and install trash cans to preserve the cleanliness of the site.

The delegation also visited Fort Alexandre, built during the same period as the Fort Jacques but left unfinished. The Ministry of Tourism will study the possibility of building on this site, an amphitheater to host cultural events, folk festivals, to make this place a magnet for visitors.

Stéphanie Balmir-Villedrouin also visited the Observatory of Boutillier, [located in the area of Laboule 12] where the Ministry of Tourism will launch a rehabilitation project, with the installation of telescopes, a restaurant and a craft market to greet the artists already there and all necessary facilities for the welfare of visitors, which thus will be able to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the bay of Port-au-Prince.
