Haiti - Diplomacy : Laurent Lamothe met UK Chancellor, William Hague

The Prime Minister and Chancellor Laurent Lamothe, met Friday, July 27, the British Minister of Foreign Affairs and of Commonwealth, William Hague, around the resumption of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

During this meeting, the two Chancellors have announced the reopening of embassies in their respective capitals, in order to reinvigorate the diplomatic relations between the two states that are committed to maintaining and strengthening a cooperation based on respect and brotherhood .

Laurent Lamothe took the opportunity to announce the appointment of John McAslan, internationally renowned architect, as the new Honorary Consul in London.

Continuing his visit, the Head of Government never missed an opportunity to present to its international interlocutors the new challenges and business opportunities in Haiti.
