Haiti - Health : Control of Food Quality of school canteens 19/08/2012 11:29:52
Began on 15 August, the first stage of this project, which will end on August 26th, is to conduct an assessment and a diagnosis of the system of control of food quality at the PNCS, in the town of Port-au Prince. To this end, 3 White Helmets volunteers are currently at work in the capital. The second phase of the project, includes the displacement, for a period of 90 days, of a team of 6 White Helmets volunteers, in Port-au-Prince and other cities where is developing the PNCS. The objectives of this phase are to provide support to the Haitian administration in the diagnosis related to quality control ; provide support to the development of modules and training sessions for farmers and agricultural technicians ; contribute to the preparation of laboratory samples for analyzing and guide the operators on the type of analysis to perform and to assist to the structuration of a system of monitoring and evaluation.
