The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe, accompanied by President Michel Martelly and Léon Ronsard Saint-Cyr, Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities, went Sunday : to Martissant, to the temporary shelter in the Church of St. Bernadette, to the police station of Cité Soleil, and to Carrefour-Feuilles to inquire about the living conditions of these populations following the passage of Isaac.

The Prime Minister and Head of State have among other distributed food kits to hundreds of people, most of whom live in hundreds of people, most of whom live in accommodation camps. "We are directing the state by the example. The State is responsible and today we have demonstrated it with the passing of Isaac. We have a lot to do and we work hard to change things," declared the President of the Republic. declared Saturday "[...] The Government has decided to increase the budget of the Directorate of Civil Protection [...] the instruction was passed to the Minister of Finance to elaborate an emergency budget [... ] there is a fund that will be put at the disposal of the DPC, but the amount is not yet decided, certainly there will be another Council of Ministers next Wednesday [...] the different ministries will help [...] we will look at how we can bring together a fund valid, because at first we talked of 35 millions gourdes, there were 2 million gourdes per department, but with the passage of Isaac, there are departments that are more affected than others, especially the coastal areas, the Great South, South East, South West, the Gran'Anse and also the Southeast..."

On the other hand, Laurent Scheinder, the Head of the Communications at the Ministry of Agriculture recalled yesterday that "[...] The banana, avocado, coffee planattions are devastated, in the Southeast, as well as plantations of corn and sorghum in the West [...] by Wednesday morning we will have all the data [...] we asked the Government to declare the Ile de la Gonave and the South-East as priority intervention area. [...]"
