Through the work of BPST, it is now possible to achieve expertise on the firearms used by criminals, analyze sockets, projectiles, forged documents and other evidence collected from crime scenes. "This is the first time that we will have for each crime, a Multidimensional and Multidisciplinary team to achieve the at-the-scene forensic examinations and ensure a successful conclusion of the trial," welcomed Dr. Arnel Demorcy, who coordinates the working group on penal expertise, jointly formed by the Ministries of Justice and Health. The first awareness session for the Investigating Judges and prosecution staff was closed by Me Jean Roudy Aly. A training seminar must begin Monday, September 24 in the premises of the School of Magistrates, for the Government Commissioners, Judges of Peace of Department of the West. A group of physicians shortlisted will take part in this training and will become part of the team responsible of 'at-the-scene forensic examinations' assigned to each police station. HL/ HaitiLibre
