Haiti - Politic : Convocation of Deputies in National Assembly Thursday ?
The Executive could convene Thursday, the Lower House in National Assembly, in order that they work on two important financial legislation, already passed by the Senate. The absence of ratification of these two laws by the Deputies, could have negative consequences for the country and make it appear at the international level on a blacklist.

Simon Dieuseul Desras, President of the Senate declared on this subject "...there is an informal signal that tells us that we must remain available because we may receive a letter of convocations in National Assembly for Thursday, so that the deputies could return work on issues and laws that can not wait. The law on the banking system and the law on money laundering, are of laws, who if they are not passed before November could put Haiti on a blacklist.

There is a necessity, an emergency that these laws are passed and that is why the Executive considers to convene us in National Assembly. These laws have been passed in the Senate and are in second reading in the House of Representatives, but before that the deputies go on vacation, they do not have the time to vote.

These are laws of regulation, which allow to make controls on transfers, on the financial transactions to prevent money laundering [...]"
